Planning your vacation should be exciting — not overwhelming. Whether you’re dreaming of a Caribbean beach, a family getaway to Disney, or a river cruise through Europe, I’m here to make the process simple, stress-free, and completely customized to you.

When you work with me, you’ll get a personalized experience from start to finish. I take care of the research, the details, and the what ifs, so all you have to do is pack your bags and enjoy your trip.

Why I Charge a Planning Fee

Family vacations are a big deal—you’re investing your time, money, and energy into creating special memories. And let’s be honest: planning a trip for your family (especially with kids!) can feel overwhelming. The best trips don’t happen by chance. They’re thoughtfully built through hours of research, personal recommendations, and years of experience. That’s what I bring to the table—and it’s why I charge a planning fee.

When you work with me, you're not just getting someone to make bookings; you're getting someone who gets to know your family, listens to what you want, and designs a vacation that fits your needs just right! 

How My Fee Works (and Why It's Worth It)

I charge a flat Concierge Care fee for land-based vacations, which covers all the behind-the-scenes work it takes to plan a smooth, stress-free, and unforgettable trip. This includes:

  • Time spent researching destinations, resorts, and experiences tailored to your family
  • Resort visits so I can give honest, first-hand recommendations
  • Continued training to stay up-to-date on new destinations, brands, and travel trends
  • Strong relationships with suppliers, giving me direct contacts for VIP service and support
  • Creating your personalized itinerary
  • Handling the booking details, payments, travel documents, and reminders
  • Being available before and during your trip in case anything unexpected comes up

Unlike commissions—which are often paid after you travel and only cover basic bookings—this fee allows me to give your family the time, care, and attention you deserve.

The Time Behind the Trip

Not all vacations require the same level of planning. Here's how it breaks down: 

Cruises


I do not charge a Concierge Care fee for most cruises.

Why? Because cruise planning is typically more streamlined. Once we choose your ship and itinerary, the rest falls into place with fewer moving parts. That said, I still put care into recommending the best fit for your family, stateroom guidance, port tips, and add-ons.

Resorts (All-Inclusive, Disney, Universal, etc), Europe, and Multi-Destination Trips

Planning an all-inclusive resort stay, a trip to Europe, or any kind of custom vacation involves significantly more work. These trips often require:
  • Reviewing and comparing multiple destinations or properties
  • Coordinating flights, transfers, and timelines
  • Planning excursions, dining, activities, and free time
  • Navigating special requests, room types, or family needs

These types of vacations typically take 5–15+ hours of planning, depending on the complexity. That’s why the Concierge Care fee is essential—it allows me to do it right, without rushing or cutting corners!

Here’s what it’s like to plan your next adventure with me:


1️⃣ Discovery Chat

We’ll start with a complimentary 20–30 minute chat (by phone, video, or email) to talk about your travel dreams — where you’d like to go, who’s traveling, and what kind of experience you’re looking for.
By the end, I’ll recommend the planning option that best fits your trip and share next steps to get started.

2️⃣ Research & Design

Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll dig into the details — researching destinations, resorts, cruises, and experiences that match your wish list and budget. I’ll narrow it down to the best options and put together a customized proposal so you can see everything laid out clearly.

3️⃣ Refine & Finalize

We’ll collaborate to fine-tune your plans until everything feels perfect. From the right stateroom or resort room to restaurant reservations and activities, I handle all the details so you don’t have to.

4️⃣ Booking & Confirmation

After you approve your itinerary, I’ll handle every reservation and payment directly with trusted travel partners. You’ll receive organized confirmations and a clear summary of your plans — no guesswork, no confusion, no missed steps.

5️⃣ Before You Go

A few weeks before you travel, you’ll receive your full itinerary and travel documents — often through an easy-to-use mobile app — so everything you need is right at your fingertips. I’ll also share helpful reminders, packing tips, and insider advice to make your trip smooth from the start.

6️⃣ While You’re Away

You’re never on your own. If a flight changes, a question pops up, or something unexpected happens, I’m just a call or message away. I’ll help handle the logistics so you can focus on making memories.

7️⃣ After You Return

Once you’re home, I’ll check in to hear all about your trip! Most of my clients become repeat travelers and friends — we celebrate your adventures, talk about what you loved most, and (often) start dreaming about the next getaway.
